Sometimes the best way to hold a body to account is to formally ask them what they know. An FOI request asks a public body for specific information. A SAR asks what data they hold about you. Both have legally binding response deadlines.

Subject Access Request
Ask an organisation what personal data they hold about you.
They must reply within 30 days.
